Project 18: Creativeness in the Making
Congratulations you've created a shutterfly site and customized it. Now it’s time to add some pictures.
This project, you will be taking pictures of random things!... Not very exciting you say.
You're right, taking pictures of useless objects that constantly get neglected isn't really exciting;
But, taking pictures of burning useless objects that constantly get neglected is definitely in your liking…
*Firefighter whispers “You can’t do that”*
Oh, were not allowed to do that?
Oh, I guess this wont be THE MOST BESTEST CLASS EVER!
So this week you will be taking pictures of random items you commonly find around the classroom, make sure you choose items you normally don't use in class to make it interesting. Remember to always take lots of pictures because you can always delete them but you can't take them again.
Your Assignment:
Tuesday: Take at least 15 images INDIVIDUALLY. These images are of the useless, overlooked, neglected items and objects that are in the classrooms of the school.
1. Think about what classroom you will target. What objects you will shoot.
2. Shoot the object in it's natural environment. Think about angles, lighting, and being close up.
3. Shoot the object in a "posed" environment as a still life. Set up a background of your choice, adjust the lighting, change the angles. REMEMBER THE RULE OF THIRDS!
4. Repeat with a different object.
5. Repeat with a different room.
Thursday: Edit your images. Create a collage of your three best images. Use befunky or picmonkey to do this. Hand your images in on schoolzone.
THIS IS A TWO DAY PROJECT. NEXT WEEK...NEW PROJECT! THIS MUST BE COMPLETED THIS WEEK (AND WE HAVE NO CLASS ON FRIDAY).
HAVE FUN!
