Project 11: Return to The Experts
Remember your famous photographer?
This week you will be looking back at the photographs of your famous photographer, and emulating their style. This means you will be trying to take pictures that look like their work. Look at the composition of their photographs, and what makes them distinct. Now, take pictures that have that same look to them.
You have already chosen 5 photographs that represent your photographer's style. Your task now is to take 5 pictures that resemble the style of the original photographs.
Now that you are a skilled photographer, you may wish to change your original photograph choices. Please keep the photographer, but change the images if you need to.
Finally, you will create a Powerpoint, Prezi, or Movie presentation. The presentation will include a title slide, at least one slide with your written biography of the artist (include a photograph of the artist if possible), and one slide with your biography and image. Then, you will create one slide with the artist's original photo and the photograph that you took side by side. Label each slide with the artist's name, title of the original work, your name, a title for your own work. If possible, include the date the original photo was taken and the date that your photo was taken.
BELOW you will see an example of the POWERPOINT that I would like you to create.
Step 1:
Choose 5 inspirational photos. Think about how you can emulate (copy) these photos... maybe you need to bring in props, have specific lighting, or you need to digitally alter the photographs after they are shot. Consider what needs to be done before you create the photo shoot.
Step 2:
Now it is time for the Photo Shoot! Take your photographs and upload them to your files. If any photo editing needs to be done, now is the time! *Remember to save!
Step 3:
Create your presentation in PowerPoint, Prezi, or MovieMaker. Please refer to the PowerPoint attached for an example and instructions on this assignment. *Remember to save!
Step 4:
You will need a title slide, one or two slides for your biography of the artist, and a slide for your biography and image. Then you will create one slide for each photo. On each photo slide please include:
Inspiration Photo (which photograph by the photographer inspired you?) Label with the title of the photo and the name of the artist.
Your Photo- Label with a title of your own creation for your photo and the artist's name- a.k.a- your name!
