Project 12: Do you know your Alphabet?
This week's assignment is a bit more simple than those we have done in the past couple weeks. This will help focus you and give you lots of freedom at the same time.
This week's assignment can be done alone or with a partner. Choose to illustrate the alphabet and interpret anyway you wish – photograph something beginning with each letter or hunt out letters themselves in your surroundings, or make the shape of letters with props. You’ll be constantly scanning your surroundings for photo opportunities and this will result in a better eye for photographs.
Your Assignment is to create a collage of the alphabet images, in order, and post this collage on your Shutterfly page. You can make the collage in a program, such as picmonkey or befunky, and then upload it as one image. You and your partner can post the same alphabet.
If you are allergic to the letters of the alphabet, consider doing numbers instead. An alternate assignment is to take the numbers 1-50 (or 1-100 if you are feeling brave). Seek these numbers in your environment - room numbers, assignments, bulletin boards... Don't be afraid to be creative and make some of the numbers yourself - be creative and imaginative!
